New Work

I realise it's been a while since I've uploaded any of my own work on this blog so I thought I'd post a quick update on what I've been up to lately...
After setting up a new portfolio recently I realised that as the majority of my paintings are commission based, there isn't a cohesive theme through my work and I don't really have my own 'brand identity'. Being an ex visual merchandiser (whose main objective was to maintain the integrity of other brands) it's important to me to make my work recognisable.
I've also been asked to exhibit some of my paintings in local businesses so it's the perfect opportunity for me to work on a new line and build on my portfolio.
I've started with digital work and found a great photographer Tiago Chediak who has allowed me to use some of his pictures for my portfolio.

The two themes I've been concentrating on are lace and a grunge/graffiti style, this week I'll be working on some paintings along the same lines, I'll be uploading them to my portfolio as I go along.
Look out for my second Folksy store featuring prints and originals coming soon!
